Debbie has been in commercial real estate since 1981 where she began at Studley, a national real estate brokerage firm specializing in tenant representation, and continued there for 18 years. Her work at Studley focused on financial analysis, space searches, lease reviews, and transactional negotiations. Following her time at Studley, Debbie partnered with a former Studley broker to form the boutique real estate firm, Cumulus Corporation, which they managed for 10 years.
At Rand Commercial, Debbie represents the owner of the Lockwood Medical Campus in New Rochelle in addition to other developers and owners in White Plains, Bronxville and Yonkers. Most recently, Debbie represented the Trinity Presbyterian Church on its acquisition of a new facility for its growing congregation. Her ability to strategize situations and analyze deals enables Debbie to effectively communicate with parties on both sides of a transaction and ultimately consummate a transaction.
Among Debbie's notable sales were the acquisition of buildings for the National Audubon Society, The Jewish Board of Family & Children's Services, Inc. and Touro College Lander School for Women and the acquisition of a new site for the Museum of Television & Radio.
Debbie worked on leasing deals for the Comptroller of the Currency, Salomon Brothers, Cravath, Swaine & Moore, Sullivan & Cromwell, Avon Products, to name a few. Debbie was also involved in expert witness analysis regarding the establishment of fair market value on behalf of Mobil Oil and the NY Federal Reserve Bank.
Debbie has a BSBA in Marketing from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA in Finance from New York University.
